Booking login access, modify or cancel a booking

Introduction

Did you know that through the new booking website, https://camping.scoutsqld.com.au/ you can set up your own customer login and manage your own bookings. 
This how to guide provides step by step instructions on how to initially setup your account, how to navigate the and manage your bookings.


Account Login Activation

The campsite booking system records customer information by email address. When you activate your account login information it will automatically link you with any bookings made using that email address.

To activate your account, start by clicking on the relevant booking portal. It doesn’t really matter which booking portal or which camp site.



Click on the “Log In” button.

This should be located on the right hand side of the screen just above first bookable item.



This will bring up the Log in page. If you have previously setup an account enter your credentials and click “Log In”, otherwise click on “Create an account




You will be required to enter you name, email address and password. Note that the password will need to be a combination of random letters, numbers, and/or symbols.



You will be sent an email, which needs to be validated before you can log into the system.

Account Login

To log into your account, start by clicking on the relevant booking portal. 


Click on the “Log In” button. 
This should be located on the right hand side of the screen just above first bookable item.

This will bring up the Log in page. Enters your credentials and click “Log In”,


You will know you have been successfully logged in, because your name will appear at the top of the booking page

 

Managing Bookings

There are several self-service options available through the booking portal.

To access the account information, after logging in click on your name



This will bring up your previous and active bookings



To cancel a booking

Note that according to Scout Queensland Terms and Conditions, you must cancel your booking at least two weeks prior to your booking start date
If a booking can be cancelled, there will be a link immediately under the booking status

 You should get a prompt, as below


Click "OK", this booking will now be cancelled

To modify a bookings

To modify a booking, i.e. update your booking numbers add or remove items from your booking, fist click on the respective booking number


Then click on the “Edit this booking” link


You will have the option to add additional items


Like any conventional booking, and as many items as you would like


To edit an item, you already have on your booking clink on the “edit item” button

Within this option you can:
Change the item
Change the check-in Checkout Dates
Change the Quantity
Remove the item from your booking



After making any changes make sure you click “Save
