Prior to applying for this Relief Payment, Groups must contact the Scouts Queensland Facilities Team and advise them of the flood damage experienced in the recent weather event.  Groups will then be invited to complete the Councils Flood Impact Survey.

HOW TO GUIDE TO APPLYING
A payment to not-for-profit organisations who are operating from or located within a Council leased or licenced community facility impacted.  One off payment to make facilities safe, clean-up conduct minor repairs and return to operation.

Eligibility:
Groups operating from or located within a Council leased or licensed community facility.
Groups who have advised the Scouts Queensland Facility Team that they have experienced damage in the recent weather event and have been invited to complete the Councils Flood Impact Survey.

QBSI 6.5 grant application requirements regarding the need to have up to date Finance and Property Returns are waived on this occasion due to the urgent nature of the funding required.  These exceptions to not apply to any other grant funds. 

On completion of the Brisbane City Council Flood Impact Survey, Groups approved to receive the Councils $5,000 Community Facility Disaster Relief Payment will receive an email.

Organisation Bank Account Details: This Section is completed by the Grants Officer.
The Bank details are those of Scouts Queensland.  Brisbane City Council have one existing account with Scouts Queensland and it is through this account that the funds will be paid.  Funds will be transferred to Group Bank Accounts when received.

Evidence of Weather Impact: Provide a description of impact / damage: not more than 150 words
Attach photo evidence

Certification: The certification is completed by the Grants Officer on behalf of the Chief Commissioner

Save and Close the application.  Please do not submit until the Grants Officer confirms it is ready.
