How to run a report in SMS

Members with access to SMS may be able to run reports depending on their role, this article will go over how to run those reports.
When you open SMS, you should see the following navigation panel on the left side of your screen.
If you do not see it, or if you can only see "Loading" then it is likely that you do not have SMS access, if you believe this is an error, please email techsupport@scoutsqld.com.au

Using the arrows, you can open the Reports section, then the sub-sections underneath it to find the report you are looking for. The list will only show the reports that you have access to.

When you select a report, a screen like this one will show. You will need to select the formation you wish to run the report for using the search option on the right, not by typing into the text box.

After clicking on the search option, a window will appear where you can search for the formation. Once you have typed it in, click the search button and then click on the formation when it appears in the list.

The window will then close, and the formation will be selected. The three options available are Generate which will allow you to view the report in your browser, Print to print the report out, and Export which will create a CSV file to download.
