Microsoft 365 Geo-blocking

Scouts Queensland Microsoft 365 accounts are only accessible in Australia to prevent bad actors from getting into the system.
This will prevent members' accounts from being accessed outside of Australia.

The error message if you are geo-blocked should look like this:

If you are using a VPN that is connecting to another country, this will also trigger the block. You will need to either turn it off or set it to a location in Australia.

If you will be traveling overseas, and intend to use your account, you will need to alert the State Office so that you can be added to an exception list.

Please send your request to techsupport@scoutsqld.com.au and make sure to include the dates when you will be leaving and returning to Australia.
