Please refer to the static risk assessment below associated with the maintenance of grass and weeds at Scouting facilities using a ride-on mower.

This risk assessment is to be read in conjunction with the relevant plant-specific manufacturer’s operating instructions and represents the minimum safety standard for undertaking this task.

This document has been developed in consultation with the Scouts Queensland Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) and has interim approval under the authority of the Facilities and Risk Manager. It will be reviewed and updated following formal approval.
