Tax Deductible Receipts for Donations - Template

How to create a Deductible Receipt for Donations in Xero

Follow these steps to update the branding theme:

  1. Click on your Formation name and then settings
  2. Select invoice settings
  3. New branding theme down arrow and select Custom.docx
  4. Enter 'DGR Receipt' as the new branding theme
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and selected upload
  6. Select invoice browse and upload the template
  7. You now can create a DGR invoice. Create an invoice and change the 'branding' to DGR Receipt and code the invoice to Donation and Approve.
  8. If you print the invoice once the payment has been reconciled, you will now produce an Official Receipt.
