"You do not have permission to perform that function" when trying to run a report

The error below will appear when trying to access reports menu in a way not intended such as using the Edit button instead of expanding the menu using the + / - on the menu structure.

If you do not have permission to access a particular report, it will not show in the menu at all. If you can see a report then it is available for you to use.

To access and generate reports
  1. Expand the Reports menu using then + / - options

  2. Expand the sub menu using the same + / - options

  3. A list of the available reports will appear

  4. Click on the name of the report in the main menu navigation panel

  5. The example below shows what would happen if you had selected the Formation Listing report
  6. The working panel will change to show the appropriate report options. The Formation Listing report example requests you to select the Formation that you wish to produce the report for.
